Impressed with Late H.G Paulose Mar Gregorios

Went through some works of late H.G Paulose Mar Gregorios, the great thinker bishop of the Orthodox faction. Quite an admirable character. Many of his views border on heresy from the strict christian outlook. He sounds hollow when he justifies the use of a deposed Patriarch to bring legality to the very foundation of the Indian Orthodox Church. His autobiography is unusually candid. I quite identify with his personality. His biblical references for justifying the Throne of St. Thomas however precludes the Thomas christians of India as they show that Christ intended the twelve disciples to sit on thrones to lead the twelve tribes of Israel. Pagan converts did not form a part of his vision. Probably Jesus did not intend for a new religion but just wanted a reformed Judaic society. I reiterate my appreciation of H.G's guts in writing such a candid autobiography, unfortunately he couldnt complete it. Would have loved to know from him why St.Thomas only picked Namboithiris (upper class) for conversion. Is that in line with the master's teachings or is it a ploy by the Thomas christians to justfy an upper class status?
